Anna Maria Cancellieri has been serving as the Italian Minister of the Interior under Prime Minister Mario Monti since November 2011.[2][3]
Cancellieri studied Political science at the University of Rome[4] and worked for the Ministry of the Interior since 1972.[1] She then worked as a Prefetto (prefect) in Vicenza, Bergamo, Brescia, Catania and Genova.[1]
