Anna Maria ("Annemarie") Theodora Petra Verstappen (born October 3, 1965 in Rosmalen, North Brabant) is a former freestyle swimmer from The Netherlands, who won a total number of three medals at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California.

In 1982, she became world champion in the 200 metres freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Ecuador. At the end of that same year, she was named Dutch Sportswoman of the Year. In July 1983, she broke the world record in the 50 m freestyle.
