Annen () is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Aa en Hunze, and lies about 12 km northeast of Assen.
In 2001, the town of Annen had 3111 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 1.2 km², and contained 1250 residences.[1] The statistical area "Annen", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 3720.[2]
