Anoop Sharma Pem (born 9 August 1987) is an offensive midfielder for the Mauritius national football team. He joined the football training club at the age of 14, playing for the Junior team. His first senior international match was on the 18th January 2008 against Algeria. He was the right winger playing with Jacques-Désiré Périatambée on the left wing. His goal from a free-kick fascinated a lot of people to the point where he was compared to Cristiano Ronaldo and the youngster struck again in the second half with a long range shot.[1]
