Anthea Anka

Anthea Anka is an American screenwriter, singer and internet blogger.^[1][2] She is the daughter of American/Canadian singer and performer Paul Anka and model Anne De Zogheb.^[3]

Singing

Anthea trained in Los Angeles with vocal coach, Ron Anderson.^[4]

Anthea has toured the U.S.A, Mexico and Canada and recorded two singles with her father Paul Anka ^[4] Her first single "Do I Love You" features Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees. "Do I Love You" was released on Paul Ankas album Body Of Work.^[5] Anthea's second single, a Spanish version of "Do I Love You" entitled "Yo Te Amo" was released on the Spanish album Amigos which features tracks from Ricky Martin, Luis Miguel and Julio Iglesias.^[3][6] Both albums were certified Gold.

Anthea has performed on various commercials including Snickers and Virgin.^[7]

Writing

Anthea writes for the screen and internet and has had a script optioned with Jerry Weintraub along with her own blog entitled "Delighted & Distubured", a social commentary blog.

Anthea currently has a screenplay entitled "Battlecreek" in pre-production with Alison Eastwood (Clint's daughter) set to direct. ^[8]
