The person responsible for picking the piercingly tinny, discombobulated remix of "Right in the Socket" over its vastly superior album-version counterpart ought to be smacked by a dolphin. All-important miscues like this can be a very sore point when anthologizing a group, especially when the group in question has been anthologized well over a dozen times. This was The Right Stuff's opportunity to come up with the definitive double-disc set of Shalamar's best moments, and they blew it. If you can see past this issue, Anthology remains a decent -- if too exhaustive for newcomers -- way to attain a substantial block of the finer moments from the group's career.
