Biography
Anthony Pleeth is one of the best-known British period instrument musicians, and is also active as a session cellist. Pleeth comes from a musical family of several generations' standing. He is the son of William Pleeth (1916 - 1999), one of the most esteemed of British cellists and cello teachers, and Margaret Good (1906 - 2000), a leading pianist.
