Antoine Bangui

Bangui, Antoine (b. 1933). Chadian novelist and author of Prisonnier de Tombalbaye (1980), an account of life as the political prisoner of his former leader, the first president of independent Chad, and an autobiographical novel, Les Ombres de Koh (1983), evoking his childhood in a divided and hunger-stricken Chad.
