Perfall, Anton, Freiherr von (Landsberg/Lech, 1853-1912, Schliersee, Bavaria), was a prolific author of Bavarian rural fiction, including the novels Dämon Ruhm (2 vols., 1889), Gift und Gegengift (1890), and Das verlorene Paradies (1896) and the stories Aus meinem Jägerleben (1906), Jagd- und Berggeschichten (1909), and Meine letzten Waidmannsfreuden (1914).
