Antonio Soldevilla
Antonio Soldevilla Castellsagué, born December 19, 1978 in Hospitalet de Llobregat is a Spanish/Catalan football player currently playing for FC Amkar Perm in Russia.
Brought through the ranks of Espanyol, he made 114 appearances for the club, even captaining the squad. However, Soldevilla grew unsettled at the club and left it in 2005 citing personal reasons[1]. He signed for Parma FC where former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz were set to buy the club from its administrators. Soldevilla left the club without a single appearance at the same time that Sanz's bid collapsed, and joined Polideportivo Ejido for the remainder of the 2005/2006 season (where he played only a handful of matches). After an unsuccessful trial with Ipswich Town[2] and starting off the 2006/2007 season on Cyprus with Apollon Limassol, he became the first Spanish player in the Russian Premier League[3], signing for Amkar Perm for the start of the 2007 season.
