Anwick is a small village in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England astride the A153 road between Ruskington and North Kyme, north east of Sleaford.

History
There is a pair of stones (glacial erratics) next to the churchyard called the Drake Stones (grid reference TF114506),
During World War I there was a Royal Flying Corps airfield north of the village and that area was laid-out as a decoy airstrip occasionally during World War II, in an effort to fool any enemy airmen that they were overhead either RAF Cranwell or RAF Digby airfields, both genuine fighter bases.
Amenities
Anwick features a garden centre, a modern day airstrip on an arable farm east of the garden centre, which is unrelated to the area used by the military during wartime, a major chicken-processing factory (Moy Park Ltd) and a Gatso speed camera.
Trivia
In June 2005, a speed camera that had been operating in the village for several years was shown in court to have been enforcing the wrong speed limit. The police had claimed that the speed limit was 30mph, yet the absence of street lighting meant it was actually 60mph. Some 2,600 drivers had been prosecuted.
Famous Residents
- Bernie Taupin, the English lyricist famous for his collaboration with Elton John was born in the village.
