"Anyone of Us (Stupid Mistake)" is a song written by Jorgen Elofsson, Per Magnusson and David Kreuger and produced by Magnusson and Kreuger for Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates' first album What My Heart Wants to Say. It was released as the second single from the album in July 2002 and became his second number one in the UK Singles Chart following his cover of "Unchained Melody" in March 2002. It spent three weeks at the top of the UK charts, as well as reaching the number one position in the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
