Plot

Hosted by Anyplace Wild regulars John Viehman and Annie Getchell, this video features a two-part, one-hour special installment of the award-winning PBS series. Together, Viehman and Getchell take viewers along the backwoods water and portage route regularly traversed by fur traders and other pioneers during the 17th and 18th centuries, along what is today the U.S. and Canadian border.
