Apethorpe is a village and civil parish[1] in East Northamptonshire, England, between Corby and Peterborough. At the time of the 2001 census it had a population of 133 people.[1] The village is located 5 miles (8 km) north of the Northamptonshire market town of Oundle. The Willow Brook bounds the eastern edge of the village, which contains Apethorpe Hall[2] and is home to the actor Rowan Atkinson,[3] known for his roles in Mr. Bean and the Blackadder series.[4]
