History
The team was founded in 1926 in the Prosfygika neighbourhood. It entered the EPS Achaias and played many matches with Panachaiki, APS Olympiacos, Patraikos AU and Thyella. The area was in the Olympiacos Patras arena, today's Prosfygiko.
The football team was dissolved and it is mainly a basketball team today. It entered the first division, the European cups and into the Greek Cup finals in 1993. The colour is black and white, and is named after the Greek god Apollo.

Ping Pong
The team also plays in the ping pong competitions, the team received fourth place in 1974. It produced athletes including Dimitrios Zikos, Giorgos Glarakis, Gerasimos Roussopoulos and Spyros Kalogriopoulos. Roussopoulos as an athlete of the team won the Atomic Greek Youth Championships in 1971, he finished second in 1972 and 1973.
In 1969 together with Spyros Kalogriopoulos they were Greek champions in the children's doubles as athletes of Sporting Patras.
