Apple Valley is a newly-incorporated town in Washington County, Utah, located east of Hurricane along SR-59. It was incorporated on October 14, 2004, and a 2005 population estimate by the Utah Population Estimates Committee placed its population at 617.[1] Recently, some residents of the city have signed a petition calling for disincorporation, saying that its incorporation was premature. It was stated that they obtained enough signatures to call for a vote of disincorporation.[2]
