History

Arashk, established in 2001 in Tehran by Pouyan Khajavi and Shahram Khosraviani. The band line-up is Salim Ghazi Saeedi on guitars, keyboards & synthesizers; Pooyan Khajavi on guitars & vocals, Shahram Khosraviani on drums.

Discography

Arashk's first album, Abrahadabra, is an instrumental blend, representing an impressive debut of instrumental, compositionally strong, electric guitar driven progressive rock music[1] and is now released.

The band's instrumental arrangement is firstly formed by standard rock conventions but hiring digital synthesizers has established the ground toward new explorations especially in promo songs of the album, Sovereign.

Their third album, Ustuqus-al-Uss is cross-genre in nature and contains standard symphonic music, Electronic beats, standard jazz drum set, purely oriental rhythms and instruments, standard metal instrumentation, odd rhythms, etc.

The fourth album, Yell released in Oct 2008 which has standard hard rock with Persian vocals.
