(Atelier de Recherche et d'Action Urbaine). Belgian architectural pressure group formed in 1968 by Maurice Culot (1939– ) to study problems posed by drastic urban redevelopment (especially arguing for conservation and restoration). It was publicized in the journal Archives d'Architecture Moderne from 1975.
