Arbitron Information on Demand (AID)

Computer-based system, owned by arbitron company and available to subscribers, that produces customized reports providing a multitude of ways to examine radio audience measurement results. Examples of AID reports are Arbitrends, an updated monthly estimate of station ratings; Maximizer, formerly Radio AID, an analysis of the radio station audience by specific demographics, geography, or time periods; and Scarborough Reports, a report providing local market qualitative information combining retail, lifestyle, product, and media data. The AID system can be accessed through personal computer applications (linking Arbitron databases with information from other advertising and marketing databases) to help marketers observe trends and make marketing decisions.
