Ferdinand Karl of Austria (Vienna, 27 December 1868 – Munich, 12 March 1915)
He was the third son of Archduke Archduke Charles Louis of Austria and Princess Maria Annunciata of Bourbon-Two Sicilies. Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, who was murdered in Sarajevo on 28 June 1914, an event leading to World War I, was his elder brother.
As his brother, he concluded in 1909 a Morganatic marriage with Bertha Czuber (1879–1979). They had no children.
In 1911 he was expelled from the house of Habsburg by Emperor Franz Joseph. Hereafter, Ferdinand named himself Ferdinand Burg and lived in Tyrol.
By then Ferdinand Karl was affected by tuberculosis, of which he died in 1915.
