The Argonne/Northwestern Solar Energy Research Center (ANSER Center) is a joint research program between the Argonne National Laboratory and Northwestern University. The center was founded in 2007 and is directed by Northwestern Professor Michael R. Wasielewski.[1] Research includes investigating of trying to increase algae’s natural production of hydrogen to make pond scum bioreactors a fuel source for fuel cells.[2]
