Ariake (有明) is a place in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. Its subdivisions consist of Ariake 1, 2, 3, and 4 chome. Ariake is part of Tokyo Bay Landfill #10 and Tokyo Rinkai Satellite City Center.
Many important facilities are located in Ariake. Among them are Differ Ariake Arena, Ariake Tennis Forest Park (Ariake Tenisu no Mori Kōen), Ariake Coliseum, Ariake Sports Center, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Tokyo Ariake University of Medical and Health Sciences, the Japanese Foundation For Cancer Research, Tokyo Big Sight, and the headquarters of Aruze. Ariake is a center for shipping in the pulp and paper industry.
The Tokyo bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics proposes to hold many events in Ariake.
