Arkharinsky District (Russian: Архаринский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty in Amur Oblast, Russia. Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Arkhara.[2] Population: 17,189 (2010 Census preliminary results);[3] 21,068 (2002 Census);[6] 27,537 (1989 Census).[7] Population of Arkhara accounts for 55.6% of the district's population.[3]
