Armaïti

One of the Amesa Spentas (see Amesa Spentas) or major deities associated with the Zoroastrian (see Zoroastrianism) supreme god Ahura Mazda (see Ahura Mazda), Spenta Armaïti, or Spendarmat in Pahlavi, is the goddess of the Earth and is the essence of devotion and fidelity. Tradition says that she once appeared to Zoroaster (see Zoroaster).
