Conti, Armand, prince de (1629-68). Member of a collateral branch of the Bourbon family, brother of ‘le grand Condé’. He took part in the Fronde and was a protector of Molière, but on becoming devout turned against the theatre (see his TraitÉ De La Comédie, 1666).
