Review

Blue Chamber's second disc proves to be no sophomore jinx as the band is turning into a well oiled machine, full of solid playing and singing. Produced by blues hotshot Jim Gaines in a decidedly hands off manner, this brings several fine originals to the table along with nice renditions of B.B. King's "You Upset My Baby," Michael Bloomfield's "Reap What You Sow,"and Carey Bell's "Low Down Dirty Shame." Dickerson's vocal are warm and honeyed and gruff in all the right spots. Good club music. ~ Cub Koda, Rovi
