Arnold Johnson (November 15, 1921—April 10, 2000) was an actor who played the lead role in the film Putney Swope. In the film his voice was dubbed by Robert Downey Sr. because Johnson could never remember his lines. He also had a recurring role as one of Fred Sanford's tenants in Sanford and Son. He also had a recurring role as Fletcher, Mother Winslow's second husband, on the sitcom Family Matters.He also played a role (in the 1987) MY Demon Lover, Starring Scott Valentine, and Michele Little,Directed by Charles Loventhal. He also had a minor speaking part in Rocky.
