Arthur Freeman (apparel) is an American clothing retail company.

History

Arthur Freeman worked as a printer for a United States government agency in Washington, D.C.. Arthur retired in the early '80s. In the late '90s, Arthur Freeman began an informal custom clothing consulting business using local tailors to craft designs for friends and family. Eventually, the consulting evolved into the development of the Arthur Freeman apparel collection for men and boys.

Marketing and Distribution

The company incorporates Web 2.0 methods in its marketing campaign, such as social networking and grass roots efforts, such as word of mouth.
