The Arthurton Football Club played in the Yorke Valley and later the Yorke Peninsula Football League. They disbanded in 1996 They won A Grade Premierships in 1955, 1982, 1986 & 1988
The Arthurton Cricket Club has recently formed and they have installed a four pitch turf square. The first match is expected to be played in late October 2010
