A Hear Music release available through Starbucks stores, Artist's Choice: Bob Dylan offers 16 favorites of Bob Dylan. Anybody who has listened to his XM Theme Time Radio Hour will be familiar with Dylan's omnivorous taste and excellent palette, but Artists Choice doesn't dig as deep as the show or its accompanying soundtrack from Ace records, as it concentrates on old folk, country, blues, and jazz, the very music you'd expect Bob to be into, but this is all excellent - it's hard to fault any collection that has Stanley Brothers, Pee Wee Crayton, Stuff Smith, Ray Price, Wanda Jackson, Junior Wells, and Billie Holiday, after all. And since this is in Starbucks and not specialist record stores, it has the chance to turn lots of listeners onto lots of great music.
