This sampler from the Creative World catalog consists of 12 performances by Stan Kenton's Orchestra, mostly from 1945-46. There are four June Christy vocals (including "Just A-Sittin' And A-Rockin"'), a pair of features for guest tenor Vido Musso ("Come Back o Sorrento" and "Santa Lucia") and six other pieces (all Kenton and Pete Rugolo arrangements) of which the highlights include "Safranski," "Artisrtry in Bolero" and "Opus in Pastels."
