Hayley Santos (née Vaughan formerly; Cortlandt and McIntyre) is a fictional character from the American daytime drama All My Children; in the series' narratives, she is a member of the powerful and wealthy Chandler family, specifically Adam Chandler's daughter.[1] She was portrayed by actress Kelly Ripa from 1990 to 2002. Ripa temporarily returned as Hayley for All My Children's 40th anniversary on January 4-5, 2010.
After introducing the role of Hayley Vaughan, she quickly became one of the most popular characters on the daytime drama.[2] On April 14, 2011, after the ABC Daytime television network announced the impending cancellation of All My Children, Live With Regis and Kelly honored the Hayley Vaughan Santos character with a special video montage.[3]
