This is a bootleg album, released by Frank Zappa without enhancement, and also available as part of the Beat The Boots! boxed set. It begins with an interview with Zappa in which he talks about the bootleg problem. The rest of the disc is taken from a show at the Palladium in New York on Halloween, 1981, a show that was broadcast on the radio and on MTV, and therefore easy pickings for bootleggers. Surprisingly, the audio quality is only adequate, although the band plays some of Zappa's more difficult instrumental compositions well. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
