Ashbel

A son of Benjamin; the ancestor of the family of the Ashbelites (I Num 26:38). He is mentioned as the third son of Benjamin in Genesis 46:21, and the second, in I Chronicles 8:1. He appears to be called Jediael in I Chronicles 7:6, 10.
