Ashley Ann Whitney (born August 21, 1979) is a former American freestyle swimmer who was a gold medalist at the 1996 Summer Olympics as a member the 4x200 m freestyle relay team. She swam in the preliminary heats of the event.
She was born in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was a collegiate swimmer on the 1999 national championship University of Georgia women's swimming and diving team, and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.[1]
