The Asian American Writers' Workshop is a nonprofit literary arts organization founded in support of writers, literature and community. It was founded in 1991 and based in New York City.

Mission Statement:
The Asian American Writers’ Workshop is a national not-for-profit arts organization devoted to  
the creating, publishing, developing and disseminating of creative writing by Asian Americans.
