Askerswell is a small village and civil parish in the West Dorset district of Dorset, England; situated 11 miles (18 km) west of Dorchester. The local travel links are located 5 miles (8.0 km) from the village to Maiden Newton railway station and 33 miles (53 km) to Exeter International Airport. The main road running through the village is Hembury Road. The village has a population of 150 according to the 2001 Census.
