Review

Assembled in Blasphemy is a well-built debut of rattling deathcore spectacle. That is, ex-members of Autopsy, Necrophagia, and Brutal Truth do the sort of lumbering horror-show metal with overly embellished pride, creating a sonic and visual experience dedicated to womb-feasting and "sadomastic masturbation" that builds to a violent aesthetic climax somewhere between a feedback-enhanced campfire story and Gargamel from The Smurfs. "Ageless Existence" is a favorite, with a speed/sludge second half and a hook which, presumably, includes the line, "Leper perversion/Save your servant." You could find better death metal than this, but while it's on, you wouldn't want to. ~ Dean Carlson, All Music Guide
