Asta the Dog

Biography

Asta was a popular canine star in the original "Thin Man" series of feature films co-starring Myrna Loy and William Powell. The vivacious wire-haired fox terrier also appeared in other films during the '30s and early '40s. In reality, Asta was played by different generations of dogs.
