EC 3.4.24.21; other name: Astacus proteinase; crayfish small-molecule proteinase; an enzyme that catalyses the hydrolysis of peptide bonds in substrates containing five or more amino acids, preferentially with Ala in the P1′ and Pro in the P2′ positions (see peptidase P-sites). Zinc is a cofactor.
