Aside from a couple of voice-and-krar-lute duets as relief, here one of Ethiopia's leading singers mostly fronts an Anglo-Amharic Afrosoul ensemble -- no new concept, as owners of Africa Dances, let alone Mahmoud Ahmed, are aware.
