Asterios Karagiannis (Greek: Αστέριος Καραγιάννης; born 28 July 1986 in Dortmund) is a Greek football player playing for Wuppertaler SV.[3]

Karagiannis played on youthside for Borussia Dortmund, FC Schalke 04 and VfL Bochum.[4]
After several years in the youth from VfL Bochum signed in July 2005 with SF Oestrich Iserlohn, who played three games in the 2006/2007 season. He left after two years with SF Oestrich Iserlohn on 27 July 2007 to sign for Landesliga Westfalen club SSV Hagen,[5] here played only a half year before joined in January 2008 to Hasper SV.[6] Karagiannis played with his team Hasper SV the 2007/2008 season to end and signed in July 2008 for Wuppertaler SV.[7] He played in his first season with Wuppertaler SV only in the reserve team and on 28 November 2009 after an Red Card for the first choice keeper Christoph Maly,[8] gived his debut in the 3rd Liga against FC Carl Zeiss Jena.[9]
