ATS Euromaster is a European tyre service provider with a network of over 450 Service Centres in the UK. It is based next to the A38(M) in Aston in Birmingham. It is the UK's largest tyre supplier to commercial vehicles. Michelin UK is based in Sideway in Stoke-on-Trent.

ATS Euromaster supply tyres and other products/services like wheel alignment, 4x4 tyres, MOT testing, batteries, brakes, shocks, exhausts and oil change. ATS Euromaster has always been part of the Michelin Group.

ATS supply tyres for the AA. It trades as Associated Tyre Specialists (South East) Ltd.


History

  • In 1967, the ATS network is created in the UK, divided into eleven separate regional ATS companies. The head office was at Harrow in Middlesex. Michelin bought its first UK tyre distributor in 1963, then a few more until it formed a network of distributors in 1967.
  • In 1974 it bought 70 UK tyre centres from Uniroyal (who were bought by Michelin in 1990).
  • The group developed itself by external growth until 1992
  • In 1991, the brand Euromaster is created, ATS network became ATS Euromaster
  • In 1992, the first center branded Euromaster is opened in Alberville, France, for the Winter Olympic games.
  • In 1994, the network grows in France with the fusion of Briday Pneus, Piot Pneu, VallĂ©e Pneus, and Central Pneus Service in 1994.
  • 2003 Euromaster bought Viborg to be present at a European level with 500 new centers
