Attendant Circumstances
Loose facts surrounding an event. In criminal law the definitions of crimes often require the presence or absence of attendant circumstances. For example statutory rape requires that the minor be under the age of consent, the age of the minor being the attendant circumstance. Model Penal Code ยง213.3.
