Review

Au Royaume des Lapins is a French-language version of the children's music series Welcome to Bunnyland. Its 12 songs feature the colorful characters of the series taking lead on various tracks; for example, "Le Rappin' Rabbit ABC" features Rapping Rabbit flowing over a mild hip-hop groove, while "À l'École" is an ode to studying and school. Joining the "rabbit" voices (which are similar to the sped-up voices of Ross Bagdarsian's Chipmunks) is vocalist Michelle Narine. Narine sings lead on the cheery theme song "Au Royaume des Lapins," the melody of which is at least as catchy as anything Barney ever sang. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
