Aubrey Hitchins
Hitchins, Aubrey (b Cheltenham, 1906, d New York, 16 Dec. 1969). British dancer and teacher. He studied with Cecchetti, N. Legat, and Egorova and went on to partner Pavlova (1925-30). He then danced with Le Chauve Souris and with Nemchinova and Oboukhoff. In 1943 he founded his own company and from 1947 taught in New York.
