Audio+

Wikipedia: Audio+

Audio+ is posed as an alternative to Apple's enhanced podcast format and was developed by Mike Versteeg. It allows images to be included alongside traditional podcasted audio, which is then downloaded and viewed offline. One of the biggest advantages of Audio+ is that producers can create Audio+ podcasts on Windows whereas enhanced podcasts can only be created on Mac computers.

Its premise is similar to that of a traditional slideshow, the results bearing resemblance to those generated by applications such as Microsoft's Photo Story.

Support for Audio+

CastBlaster is a podcast production program that supports the Audio+ format. The only podcatcher currently known to support Audio+ is WinPodder[1].
