Austria-Hungary

[ʹawstrēəʹhəŋgərē]

(also Austro-Hungarian Empire or Dual Monarchy kingdom that existed from 1867 until the outbreak of World War I. Austria and Hungary were sovereign states, and parts of present-day Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Italy, Poland, Bosnia, and the Czech Republic were subject to the crown.
