avitrol poisoning

An avicide; leads to disorientation and vocalization in pigeons which may then be molested by normal birds. Chemical needs to be differentiated from Avitrol, a proprietary name for the anthelmintic levamisole hydrochloride and Avitrol plus (levamisole plus praziquantel).
