Avner W. Less (1916-1987) was an Israeli police officer, born in Berlin, Germany. When the former SS officer Adolf Eichmann was kidnapped by Mossad agents in Argentina and brought to Israel for trial, Avner Less was Eichmann's interrogator.
Extracts from Less's interrogation of Eichmann have been published in the book Eichmann Interrogated.
The 2007 film Eichmann dramatises Eichmann's interrogation. The part of Avner Less was played by Troy Garity.
